Teaching is what brought Colin to academia and it continues to both challenge and enlighten. His passion is evident in the classroom, where he currently teaches three classes.

The first is Foundations of Professional Sales. This course introduces students to the consultative sales process and assesses progress through two role play selling situations. These 'mock sells' provide real-world experience to undergraduates pursuing a career in professional sales or simply enter the work force and enhance their job interview skills. The second is Sustainability Marketing. Bridging his research and teaching passions, this course gives students an edge in the marketplace by providing application-based learning across social, political, economic, environmental, and legal spheres within a business context. The third is the Global Consulting Program preparation course. This spring semester class prepares students traveling in the GCP program over the summer. It involves a realistic consulting project as well as a language/culture portion that give OU students an edge not just in the summer program but on their resume as well. At the University of Alabama (2009-2013), Colin taught Consumer Behavior, Promotional Management, and International Marketing. He guest lectured for both Masters and MBA courses and also taught import/export management, international logistics, and global marketing.
